Support the 2011 U. S. Paragliding Team’s trip to the 2011 Red Bull X-Alps!!
Support Red Bull X-Alps Athlete - Honza Rejmanek
Honza Rejmanek and Dave Hanning will be representing
the United States of America in this year’s Red Bull
X-Alps
competition. The Red Bull X-Alps is a paragliding and hiking race that lasts
two weeks and goes on day and night across more than 570 miles (864 km) of the
European Alps. The start date of the race is July 17, 2011. It occurs once every two years and has been happening since
2003. It is considered by many to be the world’s toughest and most
spectacular adventure race. Besides television and magazine coverage, it also
has an internet audience of more than 500,000 people. This makes it the most
followed event in paragliding. Dave Hanning will be Honza’s supporter for the third
time. Honza finished 9th in 2007. In 2009 and in spectacular
fashion, Honza was able to finish 3rd and end up on the podium with
the two Swiss legends (Chrigel Maurer and Alex Hofer). This year, Honza’s goal
is to make it to Monaco and stand on top of the podium.
